I’ve used them before and absolutely loved the service! I decided to use them again for my recent move and I was extremely happy once again! They get the job done quickly and are very careful with everything they handle. They had to walk up FOUR flights of stairs with my massive furniture and they did it so effortlessly. Stop your search!! You’ve just found the best movers in NYC!!! Both times I’ve used EZ Haul Movers, they were responsive, professional, and incredibly careful with my belongings (cautiously wrapping every last item!). They were speedy and friendly, came prepared with the materials I didn’t think to provide (e.g., moving blankets for wrapping my larger items), and completely accommodating when I underestimated how many boxes I’d be moving. I have used a variety of movers in the city (Man with a Van – not as professional, Dumbo Movers – wildly overpriced, etc.) and EZ Haul Movers is BY FAR the best experience for the best value. Both times I’ve used EZ Haul Movers, I’ve had to move with less than 1 week’s notice. While other companies took 24-48 hours to respond, get back to me with estimates, and ultimately said no, Joe responded immediately and found a way to fit me into his team’s busy schedule. I had to pick up furniture items stored in 3 different locations across New York, and his team started the day at 5 am so they could be sure to deliver my items by 6 pm (per my new building’s restrictions). The team was incredibly efficient and managed to finish way ahead of schedule. Perhaps most importantly, Joe’s responsiveness and friendly demeanor made the experience of a last-minute move in the middle of a pandemic — an experience that, with any other company, would have been a complete nightmare — a calm and organized experience, made all the brighter by Joe’s good humor and his team’s kindness and hard work. I promise, by the end of your move, Joe and his team will be your new best friends!! Thank you, endlessly, EZ Haul Movers!! You’re always my first call!

My girlfriend was quoted $600 for a moving job. When I arrived on the scene the guys were taking their time, on their phones and I had to step in to help. This was a 5 flight walk down building. The job got done in 4 hours. If I did not step in to help they would’ve easily taken 6 hours and taken advantage of a woman. Upon finishing my lady was texted “you forgot to add gratuities”. She thought that meant it was mandatory. A job that was quoted at $600 ended up costing me 4 hours of my time and energy and a grand total of $1200+. If we knew this is how much they would’ve shooken us down for we wouldn’t have gone with S&D. Use this company at your own risk and remember even if you get a text telling you that you forgot tip it is optional. S&D refused to give my woman her money back when this was brought to their attention. Use at your own risk and double your quoted price for safety.

Very rarely am I impressed with a moving experience, but the entire crew at Serenity movers is polite, professional, and prompt! Everything from the quote, working with the landlord, and the actual move is performed smoothly. Even with extra items moved; the move was UNDER the quoted price. I will definitely be calling this crew up for my next move!

I hired this company for a specific job: to expertly load 3 PODS for a cross state move and months storage. It was a disaster, I was in shock: all my furniture arrived wrecked. Making matters worse was the follow up customer service. My contact person never got back to me. When I finally got a hold of someone at the office, he was very rude and basically brushed me off and didn’t bother getting back to me either. Extremely disappointing. I never expected for the outcome of my move to end up being so unprofessional and for my worst nightmare to come true: paying a lot of money trusting the job will get done as promised, but it isn’t, and the company takes no responsibility. I do not recommend this company. PS: I am writing this review a year later because there was storage time, (that had been specified there would in advance), and 2 PODS damage investigations. PODS has just determined that damages were due to improper packing. Everything I personally packed made it intact. The furniture packed and loaded by College Hunks was all damaged. I had put full trust in your company and it ended up being a traumatizing experience.

I worked with Zachary to set up a move from an office building that was proving to be more than I bargained for. He was so fast to respond, very professional and patient while discussing logistics. Unfortunately, there was a change of plans and we did not move forward with their services. We booked this company after reading all the great reviews. We have a 3 month old and moving a crib was our top priority. When we called to book, we were assured 5 times (yes, because we asked 5 times) that the guys are able to disassemble and reassemble the crib. The morning of the move, the guys showed up and said we cannot reassemble the crib, and if we wanted, we can cancel the move! Really? The morning of the move date after we already booked the elevators for both locations, and needed to be out of the apartment. We spoke to customer service at corporate who said someone will be in touch with us to help resolve the fact that we will need to hire someone to reassemble the crib….. we never heard back. Called them several times and the corporate was sending up to franchise and franchise back to corporate. Although they acknowledged that the mistake was on their end, no one took responsibility to reimburse us for the crib assembly. Customer service was disgusting saying “well you were told that the guys can’t reassemble the crib and you chose to proceed with the move”. Yeah, because we were completely stranded, the morning of the move, with a 3 month old!!! Instead of resolving the issue, they just passed the blame back and forth. I’ve never encountered such poor communication or company that takes no ownership of their mistakes. Oh, we should feel better that they fired the original customer service person who promised us that the crib was going to be reassembled? You need to train your people better. Instead of remedying the problem, sweep it under a rug, until the next person moving with an infant comes along, and you can lie to them as well about moving the crib. PS: we have spent over 4 hours on the phone with both corporate management and franchise to resolve this issue, and instead of fixing the problem, each party kept blaming the other without actually offering us any solutions or advice. No thanks! We’re not wasting any more of our time calling you.

We had such a great experience with Abreu Movers Near Me Westchester! We had someone come to give us an estimate for our move from Brooklyn to Queens. We had 3 different companies come to give estimates (all based on recommendations from friends) and Abreu Movers Near Me Westchester seemed easily the most professional and also gave us the most competitive rate. They were on time both for our estimate appointment and for the move. They were consistently clear, and easy to communicate with when I called with questions in preparation for the move, and on moving day they were incredible. They packed our belongings carefully, and efficiently, and our move went smoothly without any glitches thanks to them. Next time I move I know who I’ll be calling 🙂

Abreu Movers Near Me Westchester helped us move out of our apartment in NYC (January 2022). Right from the start they were very helpful, quick to send out a quote and answer our (many) questions. Ron’s Trucking picked up a large old reclining sofa and a big grill. The team made sure the grill didn’t leak coming from the deck through the house. They also knew how to separate parts of the sofa to fit through the hallway and front door. No scratches or mess. The team was courteous. The price was very reasonable. I will use this company as needed in the future and will recommend it to anyone needing hauling or moving.

Never hired professional movers in my life, but called Ron’s on a recommendation. Ron came to my home to provide an estimate and was extremely detailed and professional. He was not pushy and explained how the range of pricing worked. On the day of the move four gentlemen came to the home and were very personable and calming in what in what is a very stressful process. My furniture and boxes were handled with care (excellent wrapping and not one ding on the wall). I was cleaning out my apartment while talking to the movers and I felt like I was working with friends. They assist with every possible aspect of the move, including taking apart and reassembling furniture. It is obvious they have a ton of experience in the business and the price was very reasonable for the quality of work. There were no issues with my house being on a steep hill and having a narrow driveway or working in tight spaces with large furniture. I am still stressed as I unpack and move in, but Ron’s made things a lot easier. I am very appreciative of how nice they were to my family and the quality of their work. I respect the many things that go into their job and how good they are at it. I cannot recommend them enough.

If you’re looking for a reliable moving company go with Tony’s Moving Co. They are very professional. They come to your home and give you an estimate. Their prices are very reliable. All my items were delivered in good condition and they were very well wrapped. When the movers arrived at my new place everything was placed according to where boxes specified. I was very happy. If I have to move in the future again I will definitely contract them.

Highly Recommend Tony Moving! My husband and I moved from Philly to NJ in this March with our 5 months old baby boy. The Relocation Specialist Sue Mia took good care of our inquiry start from RFQ to Moving process. Even though we had little issue while make the arrangement on the moving date, but she came up a proper and responsive solution for us. During the moving date, the movers were carefully handling our stuff and furniture which way better than our expectation. I would definitely choose the Tony Moving for our next moving again!

We have moved house many times and this was by far the best company we have ever used. They were efficient, friendly, helpful and good value. We moved internationally and they wrapped and packed all belongings so well and with care to make sure everything was protected. The removal people at the delivery end even commented on how well the shipping container was packed and they don’t often see it packed so carefully. Would highly recommend.

Very easy to book, Patrick is very friendly and straightforward. He accommodated me last minute (booked two nights before the day I needed to move). The movers arrived right on time and worked quickly. They’re very familiar with Co-op city so if you’re moving there they know the drill. Took off a star because one guy was a little too chatty, and their equipment could use an upgrade. Overall a solid and reliable option at a decent price point!

While they did an okay job moving my furniture out. My complaint is: They stole my jewelry. I had a dresser moved out of my apartment. Inside the dresser drawer I forgot there was jewelry inside the dresser. A chain, 2 rings, a bracelet, and me and my husbands wedding rings. I didn’t remember until after they had already moved everything downstairs. When I did remember not too long after they moved the stuff out, I ran down stairs and looked in the drawers. All the jewelry was GONE. I want to add that they taped the dresser drawers and taped around the entire dresser before moving the dresser downstairs. When I went downstairs the tape had not been tampered with at all which I guess means they took the jewelry either before wrapping the dresser with tape or at some point taking the dresser downstairs. I think it would have been decent for them when they discovered the jewelry to say “hey, you left some jewelry in here.” But unfortunately, that’s not what happened. I was having so many things moved out that day I totally forgot. So I would say if you use this company, BE SURE to remove everything out of any drawers that may be of value, as you will NOT get it back.

Quick Move and Packing is a great team of professionals that get the job done with ease, care, and highly professional. I found this company using google search and hired them. Being my first time using them I was very pleased with their services. The owner is a super friendly guy who cares about his customers and it shows. His crew is just as amazing and determined to help their clients get the job done. Worst experience. This is a sham! Once they get your deposit good luck trying to get anyone on the phone. We had a move booked and they had to reschedule due to a prior move taking longer. No problem, we accommodated. The next day when the move was supposed to happen we waited hours with nobody showing up. Made repeated phone calls that were both ignored and declined. They weren’t just unavailable, we called the owner, Steve, directly and our calls were purposefully declined. We agree with the only other truthful review on here. THIS GUY IS A FRAUD! Go with any other moving company and stay clear. Also check the reviews on yelp for yourself. This guy has open cases in court for defrauding people with his other moving and construction companies. He just shuts them down and renames them every time he runs off with your money UPDATE: In response to the owner, I have no idea what you’re talking about. We’ve never booked you for any other move before this fiasco. I don’t have any children. We’ve never changed the date, YOU did. In summary, that’s not us.. please keep your accounts straight. As a matter of fact, how many moves HAVE you messed up that you are confusing all of your unsatisfied clients?

🤯 MIND BLOWN. 3 gentlemen (Brian, Moe, a Gentleman I believe is named Will) came to help us with the move; they disassembled, wrapped and packed everything we couldn’t and moved everything out of the apartment in an hour. The level of protection they had on the wardrobe was equal to how it would come packaged and delivered from the company. So exceptionally kind, communicated well with us and just overall strong (these gentlemen took everything we thought was heavy like they were carrying a single sheet of paper out the door). Exceptional Service! 20/10 would recommend and will be calling them for all future moves.

After arriving 30 minutes late, the movers worked quickly and efficiently even in 95 degree weather. They disassembled the bed frame and couch and reassembled both perfectly at our new place. They were careful with our items and very confident in their ability to get the job done without a hitch.

Ted and his team did a great job moving my household to Florida. Everything turned out to be as expected and as agreed upon. I opted to pack the smaller items myself while they took care of the furnitures and other bulk items. It saved me money and worked out very well. They were very careful with the items and with the houses at the pick up and delivery location. The pickup and delivery was within minutes of the promised time.

*** PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS COMPANY FOR A MOVE… I hired Direct Moving & Storage to help move my family and I to Florida. I met with the owner Ted, I gave him the info of all the items I was moving, thus he provided me w/ a quote for the move. I had received quotes from different companies but I decided to go w/ Ted as he told me the day we met that “he is not like other moving companies he would not charge me more the day of the move” BIG MISTAKE… On the moving day his movers came and picked up my items, loaded the truck and closed it, then gave me a MUCH higher price, almost double from the initial quote. Never during the move did his movers tell me that I had gone over the initial “quoted amount” I called Ted to see if this situation could be rectified, but he did not budge on price, he was very unprofessional, angry and then stopped responding to my calls. When I asked the movers to unload the items they would not and then wanted me to pay them extra to unload the truck. I had no choice but to call the Police. It took for the Police to have them take my items off the truck. Many of my items broke while the movers took them back off the truck in a very careless manner and broke many items. This company took my $500 DEPOSIT and did NOT credit it back. This was a. HORRIBLE experience for my family and I.

We solicited bids for our move from Tri-County, whom we knew about because we had bought furniture from them, and from another company that had been highly recommended by friends. We chose Try-County because their price was significantly lower and we had a good feeling about them from our earlier experience. We were not disappointed – Tony and his team are hardworking, friendly, and efficient. They had to store our furniture for about a month and the cost of that was very reasonable. The move into the apartment was fast and thorough. And Tony was very flexible about dates, as we were in a situation where we had to make several changes. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Tony leads a great team of men who follow his lead caring for all household items as if they were his own family’s. The star is Maurice who I watched meticulously covering all furnishings with plastic and then taping padding to ensure safeguarding each item. All electronics were carefully wrapped in plastic so wires would not be damaged. When taking apart a bed frame Maurice noticed a a damaged screw and replaced it.His keen eye discovered a misplaced screw from a previous mover I used. Each move he made was sheer poetry. As for the rest of the crew, they worked beautifully together getting all items loaded and unloaded expeditiously. Tony and the great men of TriCounty Movers are the best!

Second time using Collins Brothers Moving during the pandemic. First time in April of 2020 and now in January of 2022. First class company. Both estimates came in within a $100 of bid. It’s unfortunate that 1 star is as low as it goes. This company gave us a wildly inaccurate estimate that resulted in actual bill being nearly double what it should have been. Additionally, the shipment was delivered to the wrong storage facility, many boxes and items were damaged, and…to sweeten it, they even lost our storage facility lock, which resulted in us having to wait hours for someone to come with a bolt cutter. All in all, horrendous. There’s plenty of fish in the sea, folks!
